あらすじ

シンガンの田舎町出身のアラサー女子が主人公。

両親はすでに他界し、家を相続し一人暮らし。

姉夫婦が自宅近くに住んでいる。仕事はOL。
休日はもっぱら、姉の家で甥達の面倒。
内気な性格。

ところが、

１３年も付き合っていた彼氏が

親友と自分の家のベッドで

浮気している現場を目撃

そこから殺人事件に発展

、、、ではなく、

そのまま、感情を抑えて、普通に暮らそうとするも
職場でさらなる追い討ちとなる事件が起こり、

本人は仕事をやめ、、なぜかその親友からちょっと前に貰った
テレビシリーズのDVDのロケ地に行くことを決意。

そこでしばらく滞在し、その間に暇なので通行人役でちょっと出てみたところ、
ロケのスタッフとして、採用される。

半年ほど働いていたら、タレントの現地マネージャとして採用されるも、
ありがちな 俳優の不倫スキャンダル から、テレビシリーズは終了。

大好きなテレビシリーズの突然の終了に加え、また失業の危機、
しかも外国。
途方に暮れるも
しかし、主人公は、、地元の人たちと協力して
新たなビジネスをその地で興して、
そのまま、定着、、、。

そのテレビシリーズは、ゲームオブスローンを想起させるような
中世の時代のお話のようだけど本の中ではあまり語られず。
ロケ地は、イギリスの寂れた田舎町。
お城でのロケが中心。

感想

さらっと読めちゃうし、
アラサー、アラフォー女子なら主人公に共感が持てます。
